In the name of name , Every name we do blame,

It’s a game of name, Let ‘s play The Reservation Game.

For our country, was it the last resort?

Or as some people say it was a horrible death note.

It was not the holy man standing with the church bell,

But it was a Satan who was ringing motherland’s death knell.

It was a mistake, which was later on blundered,

Coz it shattered many dreams, and left them plundered.

Eight amendment of the constitution in nineteen fifty nine,

Extended SC/ST reservation, for another 10 year of time.

23^rd, 45^th, 62^nd, & 79^th amendment did the same,

And the policy makers kept the principles of morality and reasoning lame.

Tamil Nadu Reservation Act in 1994, definitely pleased some community,

It granted 69% reservation, and 9^th schedule provided it Judicial Review immunity.

In the year 200, 82^nd amendment kept Supreme Court’s 1996 decision aside,

Relaxation in qualifying marks and evaluation, in job reservation and promotion were restored to this reservation tide.

In the year 2002, again 85^th amendment was carried on,

With accelerated seniority provided to SC/ST members, Promotion hopes of many senior Upper-class officials were gone.

All this was not enough, widely popular elected members thought of doing something more,

With this intention I 2005, they gave private unaided educational institutions The Reservation Sore.

Reservation was an easier way with faster statistical outcomes,

But the UPPER-class always says, reservation was weakening India’s gums.

Stronger affirmative action could have proven to be a boon,

It would have supported deserving people, like a child is fed with a spoon.

This unbiased reservation policy is creating a new diversification,

In the backward society it is causing bifurcation.

A shudra is getting exploited by his own shudra brother,

Economic and social gaps are coming between the sons of same mother.

Admission to the reserved seat enhances his brain,

While his brother, is now also cleaning drain.

Mr. Better Brain has become rich and a part of creamy layer,

But his son is now also a reserved player.

For his many generations, Mr. Better Brain has a very good plan,

After all they are still the part of same socially backward clan.

Calling a son of Priest, as a son of priest will not be considered as an act of treason,

But calling a son of shudra, as a son of shudra, will definitely land you up in prison.

On the other hand, we have a brother, who was cleaning the drain,

His son is struggling for the same seat, as the son of Mr. Better Brain.

A simple paper, known as a caste certificate,

For many new avenues, it is a free ticket.

Neither it is a vote bank politics, nor the policy makers with any community has got any romance,

They are just trying to give, everybody a fair chance.

Shudra are equally intelligent, but in examination their genes would not let them score,

So for equal opportunities, not the better infrastructure but only a reserved seat can ensure.
